Job Description

Under direction of the Corporate Training Manager, the Registration Services Analyst provides Float Pool staff scheduling, training, auditing, monthly and annual performance reports, and serves as the back-up for Compliance Reports. Reviews performance for compliance with organizational and departmental policy reporting outcomes to departmental leadership. As directed, conducts system studies of different organizational areas to investigate, evaluate and develop policies and procedures that enhance the operational effectiveness and efficiencies of these departments. This position ensures the effective use of information technology and work processes to meet both the organizational quality of care objectives and financial goals. 

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in a healthcare related field from an accredited college preferred. One year prior experience in a medical clinic, health care or managed care setting required. Two or more years of experience as an analyst in a multi-specialty clinic preferred. Lean Management Yellow Belt or advanced level certification preferred. Must be proficiently skilled in the application and use of the Microsoft Office Suite; i.e., Windows, Word, Excel. Outlook, PowerPoint, and practice management software such as McKesson Practice Plus, and McKesson On-line. Must possess the skill and ability to type/word process at least 35 wpm with 100% accuracy, and excellent analytical skills.  Must have the ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced, stressful situations; to maintain accuracy and detail orientation when analyzing data and other information; to multi-task in an efficient, thorough, and prioritized manner; to work quickly, accurately and independently in order to anticipate needs and solve problems. Must be able to follow through on the completion of projects.
