Support Analyst works under minimal supervision and is directly responsible for
the implementation and support of information systems including: system
upgrades, project management, communications, database management and
integrity, reporting, and business analysis.
degree in Information Systems or related field from an accredited college or
university; or equivalent advanced job experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three
years recent experience in supporting information systems, including: project
management, system installation and support, database administration, and
reporting tools; and experienced with standard PC applications and operations. Additional
experience in programming and design of web applications preferred. Project
Manager experience with small to medium projects. Knowledge of databases (design,
maintenance, and query) and reporting tools. Knowledge of application support,
customer service, software upgrade processes, and change management. Skilled in
the application and use of Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project,
PowerPoint, Email, Document Management, and the Internet.
Any combination of educational and work experience that
would be equivalent to the stated minimum requirements would qualify for
consideration of these positions.
